The children's department has ruled out the possibility of baby Malaika's mother gaining access to her baby. The department visited both the baby and the mother and discovered that the woman has been less than honest in her statements since her baby was rescued. The lady had claimed that her husband had dumped the baby. But early investigations indicate that the story may not be true. At the same time, the officers say it would be futile to allow her to breastfeed since Malaika's jaws are not able to suckle.
