In as much as many know the importance of donating blood, many Kenyans continue to shun away from this important practice that could help save lives. However, some Kenyans have taken up the initiative and through the social media they are now urging Kenyans to donate blood. On our first edition of our weekly segment " The Health Assignment" that will be looking at the health of the nation from every possible angle, our reporter Irene Choge tells us why the country is living life on the edge without blood in it's blood banks.
