Wireless health takes the spotlight at the CTIA event in New Orleans, with a host of exhibitors on hand to display their latest mHealth innovations.

At the Australian Fitness & Health Expo in April, eco-fitness, choreographed fitness classes, high tech fitness apps and internet-equipped gym gear are just a few of the innovations set to get fitness junkies amped. The annual trade-only fitness event is the largest health and fitness event in the Southern Hemisphere. More than 300 exhibitors will be on display, including popular trends Latin dance inspired Zumba classes, suspension-based TRX training, Crossfit core strength training, and functional or integrated training.

Health and fitness agenda: Health 2.0 heads to New Delhi

For the first time ever, the San Francisco Health 2.0 event heads to New Delhi to showcase cutting-edge innovation of "user-generated" health technology.

January 29-February 1
Munich, Germany

ISPO is one of the biggest events in the world for sports goods manufacturers and suppliers. Over 2,000 exhibitors are participating in 2012, and the event is expected to draw more than 80,000 visitors from over 100 countries. ISPO will focus on eco-friendly products with a special section called Eco Village. An interdisciplinary segment called Freeriding will be organized for products dealing with snow sports on Febuary 2-4. A sister event happens in Beijing, February 22-25.

Now in its 37th year, Arab Health Expo is an international business networking event among healthcare, medical, and science professionals held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The event is expected to draw more than more than 71,000 visitors from 60 countries, including pavilions for Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The event is unique in its focus on drawing an international community to Dubai's fast-growing health market, with more than 30 percent of last year's exhibitors and attendees from outside the Gulf States.

40th Ski Industries of America (SIA) Snow Show

The SIA Snow Show, January 27-30, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, is the largest, most concentrated trade event in the snow sports industry, attracting more than 20,000 industry professionals and unveiling new products and gear. More than 1,000 brands will be on display, representing an industry that is $3 billion strong.
